I have a Chrysler 273 I believe. Trying to determine the year so I can purchase the correct manual.

On ID Plate on Bellhousing

M273-BWR10-288
E066754 or E066254 cant read that 5th digit clearly.

Should be casting number on the other side with the date of the blockView attachment 1093

Here is the other side. tough to read. 4-3-69? Lots of layers of paint.

I was hoping someone had a chart they could reference.

The number you want is the "stamping" number.

It's on the front of the block (cylinder #1 side) just below the head (begins with a letter).

It's a thin/fine stamp so you'll probably need to scrape off some of that paint.

It'll provide you with very specific build info. If nothing else, if you can get the first letter,
that'll tell you the year.
