Engine Hourmeter location?

Looking to buy a 2000 Maxum 2300 SC, but would like to confim the hrs, where can i find the meter?

anywhere from the engine room to the dash or under the dash,or it may not even have one.
If electronically controlled, MPI,EFI,TBI a scanner may show the actual hours registered in the ECM(computer)

Ayuh,... Hour meters are usually owner added pieces....

Some combination dash gauges have them built into the combo gauge.

My 1995 Maxum 2700 scr doesn't have one. I thought all boats did. I guess it's an option on some.

Not all boats have hour meters, typically lower cost manufactures do not install them from the factory.
