Engine hesitation and stalling

I have a 2005 Rinker 320 with Twin 5.7's. It was dry docked last summer and fully winterized. The baot only has 90 hours. Just put it in the water and both engines started right up. I Let it idle at the dock for about 45 minutes and all ran good. I took it out and as I idled down the channel my starboard engine started whinning a bit and sounded like it was sucking air or trying to. I took it out of gear and tried to rev it up a bit and it was stuttering and hesitating. It would rev up itself and increase RPMs and then fall back down. It did this a few times. Then stalled out. I was able to start it right up but that only lasted about 15 -20 seconds then would stall again. I would start it again and the same thing happened. I headed back to the slip on one engine. any ideas

Without looking at anything else, it sounds like water in the gas. But with two engines, that doesn't explain why one is running rough and not the other. Might pull the fuel filter and check for water just to be on the safe side.
