If you are using approx the same amount of fuel every time before your problem starts then you probably guessed right in your first post.

"This is what I have found.Rem

"This is what I have found.Removed pick up tube and it is covered with a rubbery substance.I did recently replace fuel line so this stuff is coming fron old line I suppose. There is no way to get the tank out of the floor so I plan to remove strainer from tube, remove check ball and install glass fuel filter in fuel line that way when it acts up again I can see it in glass line and clean it and go.
Does this sound like a good plan?Tom"

"I trust you have a water sepe

"I trust you have a water seperating fuel filter. If not you should. It is very possible that you got a bad new condenser. Condensers are notorious for being bad, brand new, right out of the box."

I installed a water fuel seperator and removed the screen in the pick up tube.I know I have a issue with some rubber particals in the tank.I think this may be a fix since the tank is in the floor.
