I have a 60 hp big foot efi engine. It will start and run about 5-10 seconds then die. After cranking a few times it will repeat the cycle.
I have replaced the mechanical fuel pump and filter and it still does it. I am getting fuel out of the mechanical pump.
My thoughts are to pull the high pressure pump and check the float and filter and possibly replace the high pressure pump since I'm in there.
Am I on the right track? What am I missing.
