"When I put the gear into reverse when there is pressure the engine dies. It takes about a 1/3 of the way in reverse before it goes into gear. Idling still, and then putting it in reverse is ok. If I moving forward at a slow speed and then put the boat in reverse or if I need to backup off of the trailer, the engine dies."
