Engine continues to run

Engine will start immediately.

Engine will start immediately. But when the switch is turned off the engine continues to run. could it be the ignition shut-off switch? when pulled engine still remains running. what's the solution?

"The kill circuit is as follows.

Black ground wire from powerhead ground to powerpack. Black/Yellow wire from powerpack to reaised "M" terminal of ignition switch. Black wire from other regular "M" terminal of ignition switch to ground.

Key ON: "M" terminals not connected (Ignition engaged).

Key OFF: "M" terminals connected (Ignition shorted out)
