Hi Guys,
I have a 2001 5.7L mercruiser which was running great till today. At idle the oil pressure drops slightly and sets of the alarm, if you put it in gear or just advance the throttle in "neutral" the oil pressure rises and the alarm goes off. The oil is full and the engine idles nicely without stalling and it also doesn't do it all the time, you can drive for awhile go to idle and it will be fine, next time you drive and go to idle the oil pressue may drop giving you the alarm.
