"Hello Everyone,
Just install

"Hello Everyone,
Just installed an electronic ignition conversion kit and flamethrower coil. Checked and rechecked and everything is installed correctly and I'm not getting any spark. Any suggestions on where to look for problem? Thanks for any help."

"Did you install (press-in

"Did you install (press-in with your fingers) correctly the sleeve in the dictributor cam? If so, the rest of the installation should have been straightforward: red to the (+) of the coil, and black to the (-) of the coil. You should feed the (+) of the coil directly from the ignition switch (no resistor or resistor wire) so you should be getting 12V between the + of the coil and ground.

Just remember that with a Pertronix installed installed you must turn the ignition key off whenever the engine is not running. If you leave it on for a long period of time, you risk frying the module."

"Yes, I put the sleeve in corr

"Yes, I put the sleeve in correctly. I saw on a previous post you mentioned jumping from (+) battery to (+) coil to bypass the resistors. I'll try that to see if I can get a spark and then run a clean 16 guage line to the ignition. Thanks for your help. This sight has been a lifesaver for me several times."

"I ran a ground wire directely

"I ran a ground wire directely to the distributor, also. It helped when adjusting timing and constant spark."
