Its an older Johnson 15 HP J15 ECDE with electric start. After changing out the fuel pump I turned the key to start it up. the engine turned for just about a half a second and then nothing. I checked all the wiring in the immediate area for loose or broken and found nothing. Put a VOM where voltage should be and it appears to be getting juice. The engine kill switch tests as open. I'm no outboard mechanic by any means but feel like I should be able to figure this out! Any ideas?
