Electric start for 15 hp 4 stroke

Question, I have a 2006 15 hp 4 stroke electric start. What size battery is needed of it? The manual pull start starts with one pull but I bought this for my son and would like to purchase a battery for it.

A garden tractor battery ( $40.00 ) will work just fine.
