How to flush clean OMC electric shift.?

A 40 hp ---75 HP ----100 HP electramatic?----Or Hydro-electric shift ?----Model # of your motor?-----Normal procedure is to let it drain overnight and refill from bottom.-----Any issue with your unit ?
