Im tackling the dist now and trying to yank it out. The cup is loose but the shaft wont come up/out. Do I have to unbolt the raw water pump? Or is this thing just being stubborn...

"To remove the distributor fro

"To remove the distributor from the block, you just have to remove the bolt (14) in the flange and pull the dizzy up. You may have to move it back and forth a few times first if you have not removed it in a long time.

When you reinstall the distributor, don't forget to grease the o-ring (part 16).
