E-tec 115 questions

Hi All,


I have an E-Tec E115DPXAAB (25" shaft)



Question 1) can i upgrade the firmware myself if i get the software and cables etc (i used to be an Auto Electrician)


question 2) is there a kit i can buy off the shelf that will allow me to convert the shaft 25" to 20"?

You would need a new shorter exhaust housing.-----The kit would be expensive if it were available.-----Cheaper to look at a jackplate.

Question 1
If you have the program you can update. But you need the data update only available through the dealer.
