DT85 dies while once on plane

"Newly acquired DT 85 will get on plane and run for 100-200yrds before losing power and dying. Can make it do this 1 or 2 times then will die if given gas over fast idle (but will still run at fast idle to get back to ramp). No alarms. After it did this once I "de-carbed" motor, but it is still acting the same.
Any thoughts?"
