"I need to replace the ignition timing switch on my '86 DT25. The original part #32150-96310 has been replaced with 32150-96313. The replacement part has 2 wires, 1 red/white and 1 black. The original part only had the red/white.
I assume the black wire is for ground. Do I ground it to the switch mount screw or splice it into the black wire comming out of the coil on the stator? thanks in advance."
