Hi I have a 140hp I think it is an 1986 I had problems with full throttle and found the carbs needed re done. So I did. Now how do you set up the carb air fuel mixture adjustment? I bought a carb sync. vacum gage but what are the settings?
The engine idles fine but in gear at higher rpms it spits and sputters..... I turned the adjust out 2 turns to start.

Question to the group, I have the 88 Dt 140. What voltage should be coming off the voltage regulators /rectifiers? I am getting 12.2 at low idle. Thought I had a problem with one of them but found the ground terminal for several grounds loose. Was at 10.5 before tightening the terminal.
