"If it helps, what color is the motor? the 90's motors were a charcoal grey, and the 80's were a blue or silver. This is only what I have learned by going to the marine shops and what I have seen online. If you can find the model number this site has a way to break it down. Click on the engine parts icon, select suzuki, then scroll down to the suzuki line and pick model identification. Hope it helps."

I went to the Model ID,but I must be thick,as I cant work it out, (Dt 07501-505864),I cant seem to see any reference to these nos?,Only thing i can seem to make sense of,is mine is oil injected,I think it means 1985??

"In your model, I think the "5" (as in 07501-"5"05864 indicates the year (ie 85, 95, etc). Since there was no DT75 in 1995, 1985 is probably a good guess..."
