Hi i got a new spring recoil f

Hi i got a new spring recoil for the pull start and the rope doesnt recoil all the way ..ARE you suppose to recoil the cord before goes on the spring or afterwards.
 
put rope thru hole in spool ti

put rope thru hole in spool tie knot. them put the rope in little slot on bottom of spool. them wing the spring up and let it recoil rope. do this until rope on spool. them feed other end thru motor coweling and put on rubber handle.
the hard part is getting the blots started while it pull on the rope.

do not wind to tight or you will bust spring or the spool itself.
