DT 25 hp 1989 STALLING UNDER POWER

I CLEANED CARBS FOR THIS ABOUT A MONTH AGO AND IT WORKED HOWEVER I NEVER COULD GET THE MOTOR TO IDLE DOWN TO A GOOD SLOW RPM FOR IDLE. I ADJUSTED A TWEAKER SCREW IN THE THROTLE POSITION MODULE AND ADJUSTED CARB JETS TO APPROX. 1 3/4 TURNS OUT FROM SEATED. THIS SEEMED TO DO THE TRICK BUT NOW IT'S BACK TO THE STALL UNDER POWER. ???? WHAT TO DO NEXT?

never soak a marine carb in cleaner overnight
they have a coating on them that keeps out moisture

sounds like you did not clean it and rebuild it properly
