"I have a 1999 DT 225 EFI and all of a sudden it will not rev past 1800 RPM's. It has new plugs (May), New Impellor and thermastat(may).
I took it to a Suzuki dealer and they said it is running hot so they flushed the engine with "On/Off" and said it was fine but it is not.
If I was to put the throtle down right after I started the engine it rev's fine. However it is a 20 min ride to the cut at no wake speed. When I get half way to the cut the engine just looses RPM's and then it will not go over 1800 RPM's.
It Rev's fine in Reverse at all times
