Dry fuel lines after sitting 220 crusaders

"My 220 FWC crusaders are hard starting after sitting for a week. I have found out that both fuel lines are dry at the carbs, any ideas? They are 1989 220 FWC crusaders with Rochester 4bbls."

"Have you looked at the check valves at your tank? I had the same problem, and found these check valves were worn and allowing fuel to drain back into the tank."
