I have a 60 hp Mercury, I don't know the exact model but it looks like somewhere around 1985. Is there any way to identify the size/name/shape of the splines on the top of the drive shaft? It has a pre-load pin on top. I want to use the lower unit for a project, so I need to make a spline adapter that fits on the drive shaft...
