I have a 98' 150 Opti lower unit torn down. It wouldn't stay in forward but I think now maybe the problem was bad adjustment. Anyway, the driveshaft bearing has quite a bit of play in it. Seems like alot to me but this is my first lower unit repair. About a sixteenth or a little more side to side and a little vertically. Does this sound normal? I will probably replace the bearing just to be safe but I would like to know for my own knowledge. Thanks
