drive vibration

getting a lot of vibration in my drive shaft keeps loosening nut on in side.would that be be prop or something else?i own a 1987 supra sun sport with the velvet drive.it has the 351 windsor in just put in motor last summer

separate the propshaft coupler from the transmission and run the engine. If no vibration you will have to check the propeller, which may be bent. Check the prop shaft for straightness and finally the engine propshaft. Also check for cutless bearing wear. Following is a link that might help. Gabriel - Sea-Bay Marine Inc.
