I'm in need of knowing the
I'm in need of knowing the seal orientation in the water pump housing cover. This is the plate that has two screws attaching it to the impeller housing. The seal inserts from the bottom of the cover.
I can't tell of the cup face of the seal faces the pump or up toward the engine.
Thanks for any input. The service manual isn't clear on this.
