Trying to find correct impeller kit and gaskets. Older merccruiser drive, believe a TR. Has hook on top. Serial number search comes up blank. Only numbers i can find on drive are 5134000. Doesn't pump water, no flow to the cooler or anywhere up stream. Put leg in deep water trough way past cav plate. Believe to be around a 1986 behind a 230 hp sbc.

what drive is it , dont think the T or TR has an impeller in the lower unit

Thanks for the reply, that looks like the upper half of what I have. Any idea what those numbers would designate? Would you know what drive it is so I could get correct impeller kit and gasket.

Ayuh,..... I'm gonna Guess, that you've got a MC-1, 'n not a TRS,.....
The look vaguely similar, but the TRS is nearly twice the size of the MC-1,......

The MC-1 uses 1 of only 2 water pump kits,.....
1 with a plastic screw for a water test port, which is the older model,.....
'n 1 without the plastic screw,......

You'll have to look to see which you have,....
