Drain plug size

We put my 1981 silverton with 350 crusaders in the water the other day forgot to put the drain plugs back in the risers on the bottom I believe 2 on each for the risers didn’t even think to look for water coming out . Moved it 200 ft to a dock and it ran for. 10 minutes we I saw the engine getting hot we shut it down what are the chances the impellers are fried and what size are the drain plugs

highly likely to be 1/4" NPT for the plugs

leaving those plugs out shouldn't have any bearing on the raw water pump impellers at idle...when was the last time the raw water pumps were serviced?

Not sure but I think I’m going to get 2 new impeller kits for them

If you don't keep a maintenance log, now would be a good time to start...If its the original Sherwood pumps, and they haven't been regularly serviced, I wouldn't be surprised to find out they need the major service kits...impellers aren't the only items that wear in them...
