Just read the post about prop spacers on a DP-A, I've got a 290 DP coupled up to a GM V8 diesel
All that came with the drive was a fwd spacer, a lock-tab washer, a castle type nut, a rear spacer and a spin-on cone with a bolt in it
Should I also have the plastic washer thats been mentioned in the DP-A post, or is it only used on the DP-A
Also, I've read that when fitting the props, they should be fitted in such a way that the blades dont pass each other in the 12 o'clock position, as this may cause cavitation issues
No matter where I position the rear prop, at some point one of the blades pass by the front props blades at that position due to one having 3 blades and the other 4
Is there a method to this, or doesn't it matter
Regards
