"Hi Guys, new to this forum, and has been very helpful already thanks. Have read backposts for ages to see if i can find a related prob. but no, so ill ask here. I have a prob. with a merc. 4.3 vortech V6. Took it over from unknown past. Fires badly, spitting and backfiring....lumpy thru till peak 1.5 on load....revs rough but higher offload. am starting on comp. check and mechanics, valve timing etc, then ignition coil, cap etc.. Am not too familiar with merc. so wd apreciate any tips from the wise thanks!"
