Do I Only Need A 5000611 Charge Coil?

I have a 1998 Johnson BJ30BAECS 30 horse outboard with only the light kit in the stator. I would like to make this stator capable of charging my deep cycle battery. I'm having trouble finding what I need to do this. I find a laminated coil offered for sale at this website called a "charge coil", would this replace a coil in my original stator and give me enough amperage to safely charge ny battery?

The 5000611 has NOTHING to do with charging the battery.--Does the light kit work on your motor ?--If you post the part # of the light kit , only then can we assist you.----Clear communication is important.-----It would only be a trickle charger.-----Perhaps all you need is a rectifier.----Or post a picture of what is under your flywheel now.
