My 1986 Mercury 35HP Outboard died and I'm getting a 1998 25HP as a replacement. Does anyone know if the same Quicksilver control will work? They are both electric start. The existing control has the Teleflex shift/throttle cables with the barrel adjustment and I didn't know if they'd still work in the 1998 model.
