Hello All,
recently I replaced my distributor cap on my 1998 VP 5.7 GSi (chevy SB with TBI), while tightening the cap hold down screws one of them stripped out,this is actually the 2nd time this has happened and like the first time I used a tapping screw instead of the machine screw.so now both screws are tapping type and I'm concerned that they wont hold, has anyone else encountered this problem and other than a whole new distributor got any ideas?
