Disconnecting throttle cable

Hi, I have acquired an older Mercury 75hp outboard. It seems to be idling fast and I wanted to adjust that down. In the service manual I have the information about adjusting the idle stop. The one thing it mentions is disconnecting the throttle cable in order to make that adjustment. In other motors I am used to a nut or a clip to disconnect the throttle cable. I can't see how to do this on the 75. Would it be possible to get some direction on how to get this disconnected in order to get the idle stepped down?

Thanks!
