DIODES? on an Evinrude, 1985, 4 HP Model E4BRHCOB?????

I have a 1985 Evinrude 4 HP OMB (Outboard Marine Belgium) built, model E4BRHCOB, Serial B102614.

It was stored for several years UPSIDEDOWN and the oil eventually seeped from above to contaminate the ignition system. My mechanic in Panama (Republic of Panama, where sits the motor) says I need coils, condensers, points, and DIODES.

I went to the exploded parts diagram at:

and I see all the parts but NO DIODES. Are the diode built into the coil or is this someother part?
