Difference between DF100 & DF115

I done a search and found nothing on this. I just bought a skiff with a Suzuki DF100 and was wondering what the difference was between the two? They look to have the same bore and stroke, just didn't know what gives it the extra 15 horses. All the parts look to be the same by the parts diagram. Just wondering what I'm missing? Could it be the tune programmed in the ECU? Thanks.

sometimes its a tune on the ecu, and sometimes its a simple restrictor plate on the carbs, and sometimes different size venture on the carbs. From what ive read the 100 is 500 less on the max rpm !!! this leads me to think its a throttle stop by either simple screw (yes it can be that simple) or the ecu has a restriction of 5000rpm put on it. ive read that the 100 can be taken upto 140hp with the right chip !!!! I wouldn't go that far as it will obviously wear it out faster, but 115 or 125 would be a nice boost that would give a lot more performance all round. this might be the type of thing that would be good, you can switch to 100 or 115 when you want !!!!!!!! http://www.magnumtuning.com/en/detail/dyno-boost-boat-performance-chip/suzuki/df100/outboard would not effect any warranty neither if you keep your old sensor and put that back if any problems arise under warranty situation . phill
