"The manual show putting Suzuki Silicone Seal along the edge of the Lower unit where it meets with the Mid unit. When I took the lower unit off, it didn't have anything in that space. Just wondering if it should be put on and it would probably complicate removing the unit next impeller change.
Haven't been able to find Suzuki Silicone Seal, If the sealant is recommended, would a high quality grade silicone caulk work? Imagining only a small amount would be applied at the seam.
