Does anyone have any suggestio
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to remove the drive shaft from the lower unit on an '02 DF140? After removing the seal collar from the top there is a little play up and down but it feels like there is something holding it in. I've looked at the parts breakdown and don't see any type of keeper that would stop it from coming out.
After I get the drive shaft out I assume I just need a puller screwed into the two threaded holes by the prop shaft and push against the prop shaft? Any tips would be appreciated.
