"Fuel is getting everywhere, except into the cylinders.Fuel rail is pressurized. Will run if starter fluid is squirted directly into the intake.Injector resistance checks OK. Voltage to injector with ignition OFF is battery voltage. Voltage to injector with ignition ON is zero. All within service manual limits. HOWEVER. voltage at the injector while cranking is less than one volt, manual calls for 6-10 volts. Is my ECU cooked? Last year while hooking up the battery after storage, I cross polarized it and blew the 60 amp slo-blo fuse. It ran after that was replaced, but not quite right. This year it just won't run. Do I need a new ECU, or could it be something else. As expensive as those ECU's are, I would like to be sure before I order one. Thanks in advance for any help."

"I don't have the equipment to plug into the SDS.
I am using my electrical tester to do each one individually. The voltage and resistance tests on the injectors, all pointed to a bad ECU. Also the voltage tests described for the high pressure fuel pump, in the service manual, came out pointing to the ECU.Thanks for your input."
