DF 90 overheating but not

"My df90 will run for a while

"My df90 will run for a while then the temp alarm will go off setting the intermitent fuel injection to drop rpms below 3000. I put my hand on the block near all four cylinders and its not overheating and it's peeing cold. I ran it in from 40 miles offshore at 3000 rmps and if it was overheating I would have blown it. I changed the water pump, changed the thermostat, changed temp sensor, swapped the computer with the stbd engine, and still have the same results. Any thoughts? Are there two temp sensors on it?"

Try unplugging it see if the problem go's away. They do go bad. How long have you had the problem?
 
"It just started the other day

"It just started the other day, when I unplug the sensors the fail safe system still activates dropping the rpms. I'm gonna switch the sensor from my stbd engine and see what happens. If it still activates I'll look for wiring problems (connections and continuity)"
