I just did an engine and transmission oil change. I did a search on here and came up with the velvet drives needing 3 1/2 quarts of Dex lll. The only stuff I can find is a Dex lll/Mercon fluid. I put it in but in hindsight thought I should ask the experts if this is the right stuff before I run the boat. Never thought trans fluid could be so complicated. Found Dex 4 but it was all synthetic stuff.
