" Hi Joe.... Thank you,the test worked. Taking apart the VRO and running 50/1 in the tank was the right call. I'm not going to replace the unit, I did put everything back together and it seems to be less smokie. It has come to the point where I must sell her because the family would like a real ski boat...sob!!! The twenty something kid next door wants to buy it. My baby bass boat it's only thirteen years old...but Joe you know what realy makes this work.... I found a 1955 25 RD17-E in mint condition on a Lakefield cedar strip boat. I have replaced the coils and condencer,this thing spins like a top, starts first time. I have some questions about it should start another post. Thanks very much Joe... Deano "
