I've got a 2001 Honda BF 3
I've got a 2001 Honda BF 30A 4 stroke outboard. I was giving it a tuneup and noticed a yellow/orange plastic tube on the starboard side of the engine that was dangling. The tube is about 1/4" thick and there are no hose clamps on it. There doesn't appear to be any obvious places where it should be attached. The tube has no indentations suggesting it was attached to anything. There are NO outer dents from a hose clamp and the inside end of the tube doesn't look like it was stuck on a nipple-like protrusion of any sort. There are a pair of drain looking holes right in front of the "cooling system indicator" jet that the tube could possibly dangle into but it is not a snug fit (and there are 2 holes for 1 tube?). Any help would be appreciated. I could email the pictures if anyone wants to see them. Thanks
