D3-130 convert to 160???

Hi all

does anyone know what it takes to up rate my current D3-130 to a 160
i thought it was a simple swap of the Evc unit but by all accounts there is more to it than that.
someone did try and explain that there is a separate module to the Evc that determines the bhp?

also am I right that the 130 is exactly the same as the 160, it's just a question of re mapping?

As an alternative has anyone out there had any experience of the many plug in re mapping boxes that are available on the market that claim to boost performance and economy.

im just a bit worried that such things might do more harm than good ??
