Cusader 8.1 Over heating

My port side engine is overheating, over 200 degrees. Just happened this past weekend. Received Water Temp warning light. Engine has 400hrs on it. Would this be thermostat or heat exchanger issue. It is fresh water. strainers are fine. Coolant tank started to boil over.

when was the last time the raw water pump was serviced?

How long have the exhaust elbows been on it?

Ill have to check with marina if they were serviced. I bought over a year ago and hasnt been done under my watch. Everything looks original and appears in great shape. Is a 2006 Silverton 43SB

raw water pumps may go a couple seasons best case...exhaust elbows may go five seasons in salt water....and typically, more frequent use will extend the service intervals...
