Crusader 8.1's with ZF drives

Hey y'all,

I have a pair of 2002 Crusader 8.1 (Standard Output) with ZF drives.

If anyone knows where to get or has a PDF service manual for them, I would be grateful.

I do not know if the ZF drives are 63A or 68A. They are 1.56 ratio as indicated in engine Model #. I did find information in another 2007 8.1 manual that says that year came with the 68A.
I have a ZF manual that covers the 63, 80 and 85 series, but not the 68 series. I need the specs and would anyone know if the 63 and 68 series are universal? Only info on the 68A that i can find is that it just supersedes the 63A.

The data plates are gone on both clutches so unless there is some type of identifying stamp somewhere, I would not know how to tell the difference.

the full info off the engine ID plate will tell you what they were equipped with...

the data I have suggests you are far more likely to have the 63's vs the 68's...and that reinforced with the gear ratio you cite.

the 68's are different from the 63's in the guts...I'm pretty sure they will swap (unit for unit) and I'm sure some of the innards are interchangable but I could tell you specifics.
