Crusader 6.0 Tach Issue

I have a 2004 Tiara with twin Captains Choice 6.0's. Recently my Port Motor Tach started flashing and not working once gauge goes about 1200 rpm's, doesn't matter whether in gear or out of gear, also hour meter doesn't add time. Anyone have any idea why this is happening, let me know. Thanks

Pretty certain your tach is driven by the ECU....more generically than Jeff's suggestion, I'd lean towards a bad connection along the harness (think connectors)...
