Crusader 454xli - Volts needed to fire?

I have bought a new to me boat and has twin 454. At slip she will fire right up. We were on the hook and running stereo a few hours etc... the port engine fired right up but the starboard just turned over and won't even try to fire. When I turn batteries to "both" and it will fires right up.

I am kind of confused as it has two new batteries and charger. It will turn over as much as i need it to. Do these engine have to have so many volts to fire or something? It also doesn't do this all the time, It's like it loses spark but gets it back when more volts get to it? Coil? ECM? Will ecm log a code for something like this?

Any help out there on this? Thanks

If the boat's maintenance history is unknown, new relays are a good first start...

You really need to do a bit of diagnosis to see if the issue is no spark or no fuel...in the long run, it will be much cheaper than throwing new parts on...
