saw oil build up on flame ares

saw oil build up on flame arester. cleaning it i saw that almost a couple drops of wet oil were on the tubes that attach... why would i get that much from value cover breathers?

"Non-operative PCV system? You'd be surprised at how many I see without the proper hoses attached, clogged PCV valves, etc.
