is it possiable to turn a crank on a outboard motor

"thats a good question.......well can you buy bearings for a outboard crank thats been turned?......thats probably the kicker cause im sure it can be turned.

ive read lots of threads but i dont think ive read one where its been done, maybe someone will fill us in."

That depends on the extent of damage.

OB crankshaft, main and rod, journals are repaired by welding up then grinding and polishing to spec. Often at a fraction of the cost of new."
